| WOOD STOVE EXCHANGE PROGRAM - 2013 In 2013, the RDCK will once again coordinate a regional Wood Stove Exchange Program. The program offers residents of the RDCK and local municipalities a $350 incentive to replace their old, inefficient wood stove with a new, cleaner-burning heating appliance. The Wood Stove Exchange Program is a partnership of the Province of BC, the BC Lung Association, the RDCK, and local municipalities. For more information on why wood smoke is a persistent health concern, visit the BC Lung Association 'Wood Burning and Your Health' webpage. For more information on the products that are eligible for the rebate, visit the Province's webpage for the program. For information on how to burn wood safely and efficiently, download the attached 'Burn It Smart' pamphlet. 50 rebates are available on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information on the program, or for a copy of the grant application, please see the attached documents. Wood Stove Exchange Program(all documents open in a new window)
